Your brand kit is your color palette, font selection, “mood” board and logo. Your web package includes your choice of over 50 color palettes and the font of your choice (any Google font; other fonts may require purchasing a commercial license), and a simple but unique logo. You’ll receive high quality image files of your brand kit, too!

Your message is your lasting impression. It’s even more important than branding. You have 8-15 seconds to grab a potential customers’ attention; to keep it, they have to be engaged. I do this through story. Your customer is the hero of their story; you are their guide. They want to know how you’re going to solve their problem and why they should choose you. That’s your message, and I help you craft it.

I provide guides to help you create your copy. You do not need to be a great writer! What I need is info on your customers’ problems and how you solve them, specifics on your services, and a bit about you/your company. I will edit and polish it to make it beautiful and capture customers!  Copywriting is often a separate service and cost – but it’s included in your package.

These things are optional, but great additions to your website include: FAQs specific to your services, testimonials from your customers, a bio picture (professional or candid), a blog and/or newsletter, and an email list/newsletter opt-in and/or a lead magnet. These items are your responsibility to provide (or work with me to create!), and I will add them to your site. While they’re optional, I highly recommend them for building customer trust AND because they’re great marketing and SEO/AIO tools!

Your package includes integration of systems like your scheduler/ERM/CRM, email list/newsletter opt-ins, lead magnets, sales funnels, social media links and more. It does not include setup of these systems and platforms (though I can help with those as additional projects!) but I will integrate them with your site for a great user experience, and better marketing for you!

Your site build includes foundational SEO/AIO practices to get your site ready to be found.

What’s included:

• Structured heading hierarchy (H1-H6) throughout your site for both SEO and accessibility
• Image optimization (file size, alt text, and descriptive filenames) so your site loads fast and serves image search
• Site speed optimization so your pages load quickly on every device

Most importantly, I format your pages to look great on computer screens, tablets and phones alike – as most people today view websites on their phones, this is a must!

Your account portal (through my CRM, Dubsado) gives you access to all contracts, forms, invoices and other info you need for your projects. We may also use other tools for collaboration, such as email, Voxer, Asana, and Google Drive.

As part of your package, you will have Privacy Policy and Terms of Use pages for all the legal stuff your site needs. I will also add a disclaimer to your footer as needed. Or, if you have your own legal info I can put that on your site instead. And, I add a “cookie policy” to your site to keep you GDPR compliant.

On handoff, I send you a PDF on maintaining and updating your WordPress website, which includes basic training in using WordPress and Divi so that you can make text edits, swap images, and maintain your site. You also have access to the resource library for further education if you desire it!

After handoff, I am always available for revision projects as needed (price based on length and complexity of revisions). I also offer maintenance and revisions packages, called Website Care Plans, for ongoing support, maintenance and updates. Read more here.

• Unless you are hosting with me, you are responsible for the purchase of a domain and hosting. I strongly recommend Siteground.com with the Managed WordPress Hosting package “StartUp”. I will need login/password access to your domain and hosting provider(s). (Getting them both from the same provider to save time and money, though it’s not critical). I will also work with Bluehost, NameCheap, HostGator or Google. If you choose a different provider and I am delayed or unable to launch your site, I will not continue your project until you have switched hosting to one of these providers. 
• If you have an existing site and your domain and/or hosting is owned by someone else – such as a previous designer, a friend or a family member, and I am not allowed access to those accounts, you will need to transfer to accounts owned by you that I can access. Some providers do allow collaborator accounts and I can work though that. I must have access to DNS settings and the cPanel/site files. I will not use an FTP client at this time; I need direct access.
• Scheduling calendars, EMRs/CRMs, email opt-ins and campaigns, and social media accounts require separate platforms owned by you. I will integrate these platforms to your website as part of your package; I can also set them up for a separate fee.
• Once work has begun, there are no refunds.
• Sites take 1-2 weeks depending on the time you need to gather the content needed.
• Completion will be determined by my receipt of all needed items: Business and Contact info; Domain and Hosting access; Branding Kit (brand board); Images (I will help with these); Website Template choice; Copywriting. On build day, I will build with whatever I have. Any missing pieces will incur additional charges to add after the build.
• You will submit feedback within a timely manner; please know that missed deadlines will delay your project, possibly significantly, depending on my project load.
• I will treat you with grace and courtesy, offering the best service I can. I expect the same from you. Neither of us knows how to run the other’s business – it’s why we need each other! – so please trust me as your designer on design and marketing-related advice. That said, I will do my best to find a way to make your requests work!
