Frequently Asked Questions

What is your turnaround time?

A website has a lot of moving parts to it and a lot depends on your feedback and response times. Most websites take 4-6 weeks from launch to handoff. (Launch date is dictated by receipt of all needed components.) I can complete a website in less than 2 weeks if you are prepared to move this fast and my work queue allows (rush work will incur an additional fee).

Branding and logo design is usually around 2 weeks depending on revisions.

Collateral design is typically less than a week, again depending on revisions.

Social Media templates can take a few days to a few weeks, depending on how many are being created.

What do I need to do to be prepared for a website?

If you are just launching your buisness, you need to have your business plan completed: name, services being offered, and a good idea of your vision and message. Knowing the “feel” you want for your business is important – bold and fun or calm and comforting? Most importantly, you need to know your ideal client and what pain points you are solving.

In general, you need:

  • Business and contact info
  • Domain name (URL) (I recommend Siteground)
  • Hosting (I recommend Siteground)
  • Services defined
  • Rough copy (an idea of your message)
  • Biography (1-2 paragraphs)

  • Bio picture(s)
  • Testimonials
  • FAQs
  • Lead Magnet
  • Email campaign platform (I recommend MailChimp)
  • Scheduler/ERM
  • Social media accounts set up
What if I don't need an entire website?

I can create landing pages, blog pages, sales pages and more; I can also redsign your exisiting site. Pricing depends on amount of content and anticipated length of the project. Contact me or schedule a discovery call to get a quote!

What is a lead magnet?

A lead magnet is a tool that generates leads (is a “magnet for leads”) by offering something of value to your client in exchange for a their contact information (usually their email address).

Having an email list is an extremely valuable asset; use your list to nurture your clients and increase sales by sending newsletters, education and specials to your clients. Most importantly, you own and control your list (just like your website) – unlike Social Media where you can not control who sees your content and which is constantly changing.

Lead magnets should bring value to your clients (should help them survive or thrive!) but should not cost you a great deal. Examples are free services, discounts, or downloadable assets (such as an eBook, workbook, or PDF). My lead magnet is a free Branding Quickstart guide to help you brand your buiness. Yours may be a free B12 shot, a free skincare assessment, a downloadable healthcare tips sheet/eBook, or a discount on one of your services.

Do you offer Social Media Managment?

Currently, I offer Social Media template design. These are premade designs (using Canva) that you can customize for your business and use on your social media. These are fantastic if you are short on time or design isn’t your thing. I can design branded templates for you (either for standard posts or for reels), and plan to offer ready-made template packages soon.

Full Social Media Managment involves creating content, scheduling that content, and managing the social account(s) – including audience engagement and tracking analytics. Ideally, this requires a full-time social media manager for your business – someone who knows your business inside and out and can engage with your clients as effectively as you would.

The landscape of Social Media is constantly changing, and traditional posts (static images with captions) are no longer engaging audiences. Successful social media campaigns involve varying content types, especially reels and stories. If and when I have reworked my services to include these I will again offer content creation and scheduling, though not engagement (that is best left to you!).

Do you offer refunds?

Generally, no. Specifics are outlined in your contract. However, I aim to provide excellent customer service and your satisfaction, so if we come to a point where I’m not able to provide what you need, I may offer a partial refund at my discretion. Most of the work I do and provide to you can not be undone or “returned”; my time is already spent and I have delivered design work in digital form that I can’t retract. I provide my portfolio and examples of what I can do for you to be sure you like my style and help ensure we’re a good fit, and will do everything in my power to deliver you a product that you love.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! If you have muliple projects in mind, I will customize a package for you at a bundled rate.
